The SFTV Books radio interview

Welcome to the first edition of the SFTV books blog. I'm Frank Garcia, the co-author of the books Science Fiction Television Series 1959-1989 (published in 1996) and 1990-2004 (just published) from McFarland & Company.

On February 13, 2009, I did a radio interview with Irma Arkus who runs Hi-SciFi, a SF radio show broadcasting on CJSF Radio at Simon Fraser University in Burnaby, B.C. It's available online until Friday, Feb 20, 6 pm PST, when the next show takes over. Here's how you can listen to the interview:

Go to http://www.cjsf.ca/ and click on Program Guide at top. Click on Friday. Scroll down to 1700 hours (5 pm) and look for Hi-SciFi. Click on Archives and the Feb 13 program is available as mp3 files in 2 segments, 00 to 30 and 30 to 60.

The interview appears about 14 minutes into the 1st program and continues to part 2.

A second radio interview with a well known SF genre podcast is also in the works for late Feb, and I'll post the information as soon as its available.

In the 2nd news item I'd like to discuss, Earth Final Conflict's 1st season is being released on DVD complete with many extras. Expect to see it in stores on May 5, 2009. The link to the news story is here:
